FileSpider is a spider that crawls for shared files in your local network, allowing you to search for those files quickly. FileSpider is an intranet search engine, which when installed on an intranet, allows any computer in that network to search for files shared any where in that local network. FileSpider makes searching for shared files as easy as searching the web through a search engines. Search from any computer having a web browser! FileSpider 1.0, supports searching for files and music. Files can be searched based on its name or the name of the folder at which it is shared. Music search can be based on the name of the music file or folder at which it is shared, or the Artist, Album or Title of the music. As of now, the artist, album and title search is only available for mp3 file types.
